VETERINARIAN-LED · REPTILE HEALTH REGISTRY · EUROPE
§ 01 — TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms of sale and delivery.

These terms apply to orders for sampling kits and laboratory analyses through ERHR.

1. Company

The service is provided by Reptile Health Registry, run by veterinarian Mark Krabbe, Denmark. CVR: 38849131. Contact: info@reptilehealthregistry.com. ERHR is a privately operated company and is not a public authority or an official EU institution.

2. The service and the external laboratory

ERHR supplies sampling kits, assigns a unique Sample ID to each oral swab, coordinates submission to an external veterinary laboratory and issues verifiable test reports. ERHR does not perform the PCR analysis itself.

3. Prices and payment

Prices for the Danish market are shown in DKK including 25% VAT. The price includes the sampling kit, prepaid UPS return shipment to the laboratory and the ordered analyses. Delivery of the kit to you is shown separately. Payment is completed by card or MobilePay through Stripe Checkout before the order is prepared.

4. Delivery and sample submission

Sampling kits are sent with tracked delivery after payment. You are responsible for taking the sample according to the enclosed instructions and returning it with the enclosed prepaid UPS return label. Results are normally available within 7 days of the laboratory receiving the sample, unless repeat or confirmatory testing is needed.

5. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the order date. For the kit, this applies only if the sterile packaging is unopened, since the right lapses for sealed health-protection goods once the seal is broken (Danish Consumer Contracts Act § 18(2)(5)). The right of withdrawal for the laboratory service lapses once analysis has begun at your express request (§ 18(2)(1)).

6. Veterinary limitations

A result applies only to the submitted sample on the sampling date. A negative PCR result does not prove that an animal or collection is free from infection: shedding can be intermittent, and sampling technique, storage and transport affect the result. False positive and false negative results can occur. Unsuitable samples are reported as inconclusive. ERHR does not provide individual diagnosis or treatment; sick animals must be examined by a reptile-experienced veterinarian.

7. Test reports and verification

Test reports are issued digitally and linked to the Sample ID, which can be verified publicly. An animal profile is public only if the owner chooses so. ERHR may withdraw or mark a report as invalid if manipulation of samples or Sample IDs is found.

8. Complaints

Statutory rules on defects apply to the physical kit. Contact info@reptilehealthregistry.com with any complaint. Consumers may also complain to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board via Nævnenes Hus (naevneneshus.dk) or the EU complaints portal.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are settled by the Danish courts.
